Family with two Children

There are moments in life when parents get stressed and overwhelmed by all the different situations they face. They might need help handling stressful life circumstances such as:

  • Children with challenging behaviors
  • Pressures of being a parent
  • Lack of support
  • Unique parenting structures

Everyone needs help sometimes and deserves the support to better handle these circumstances.

Project HOPES (Healthy Outcomes through Prevention and Early Support) is a collaboration of four local community organizations: Any Baby Can, Easter Seals, Strong Start and SafePlace. It offers parent education home visits as well as other services based on the specific needs of each enrolled family.

If you know a family that wants to improve their parenting skills, please refer them to Project HOPES. Its partner organizations will work with them to ensure that their family thrives in a safe and healthy environment.

The support and education each family receives is based on their unique situation with respect to their time, circumstances and comfort level.

Interested families may call (512) 264-4100 or email projecthopes@safeaustin.org to begin their confidential qualification process.

If you or someone you know is interested in Project HOPES services, please fill out our online referral form or download a pdf version.

Project HOPES is available for qualified parents living in Travis or Williamson Counties with at least one child 0-5 years old. Funded in part by the State of Texas.
